U.S. Final Anti-Subsidy Ruling on S. Korean Refrigerators

On March 19, 2012, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a final anti-subsidy ruling on South Korea made refrigerators (see the table below).

As per the procedure, the U.S. International Trade Commission will make relevant final ruling for industrial injury on April 30; if the injury ruling is affirmative, the Department will issue the anti-subsidy duty order on the Korean refrigerators.

On April 19 last year, the Department started the anti-subsidy probe under HS Codes 84181000.10, 84181000.20, 84181000.30, 84181000.40, 84182100.10, 84182100.20, 84182100.30, 84182100.90, 84189940.00, 84189980.50, 84189980.60.
