USITC Sunset-Review Ruling on Stainless-Steel Butt-Weld Pipe Fittings from Italy, Malaysia, & Philippines
[2012-06-27 14:47:29]
On June 20, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) determined under a five-year sunset review process that revoking the existing antidumping duty orders on stainless-steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy, Malaysia and the Philippines would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
As a result of the Commission's affirmative ruling, the existing orders on imports of those products from the 3 countries will remain in place.
On January 31, 2000, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched the antidumping probe under HS Code 73072300.00, with a final ruling made on December 27, 2000, and on November 1, 2011 it started the sunset review for the case.
