The U.S. Final AD Ruling on Power Transformers from South Korea

On July 3, 2012, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its final antidumping (AD) ruling on large-size power transformers made in South Korea, as shown in the table below.
Besides, the U.S. International Trade Commission will give a final industrial injury ruling for the case on August 16, 2012.
As a result of the Commission's affirmative determination, the Department will issue an antidumping duty order on the Korean products.
On August 3, 2011, at the petition of ABB Inc., Delta Star Inc. and Pennsylvania Transformer Technologies Inc., the Commerce Department launched the antidumping probe under HS Codes 8504.23.0040, 8504.23.0080, 8504.90.9540.
