U.S. Initial AD Ruling on Washing Machines from Mexico

On July 30, 2012, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its preliminary antidumping (AD) ruling on large household washing machines from Mexico.

The Department is scheduled to give a final antidumping ruling in December 2012, and the U.S. International Trade Commission will correspondingly make a final industrial injury ruling in January 2013.

On January 19, 2012, the U.S. started the antidumping probe under HS Codes 84501100.40, 84501100.80, 84502000.90, 84509020.00 and 84509060.00, along with an anti-subsidy probe into such products from South Korea.
