U.S. Cancels Admin Review on China Steel-Threaded Rod Makers

On September 13, the U.S. Commerce Department announced canceling its antidumping administrative review on the steel threaded rods made by seven Chinese enterprises: Gem Year, Haiyan Julong, Jiashan Zhongsheng Metal Products Co.,Ltd., Jiaxing Xinyue Standard Part Co., Ltd., Suntec Industries Co., Ltd., CPI Company and Shanghai Prime Machinery Co. Ltd.

In May 2012, the Commerce Department ruled the antidumping duties at 20.05% on Jiaxing Brother Standard Part Co., Ltd., IFI & Morgan Ltd. and RMB Fasteners Ltd., 20.05% on Zhejiang New Oriental Fastener Co., Ltd., and 206.00% on general Chinese enterprises.

In June 2013, the U.S. started its antidumping administrative review into China steel hangers under HS Codes 7318.15.5050, 7318.15.5090 and 7318.15.2095.
