The U.S. Rules Injury by China Sodium Glutamate

On November 15, the U.S. International Trade Commission gave affirmative preliminary rulings that sodium glutamates from China and Indonesia, allegedly dumped and subsidized, have made material injury or such injury threat to American industry.

Accordingly, the U.S. authority will impose antidumping and anti-subsidy duties on the China product.

The double-anti probe was launched by U.S. Commerce Department on October 24 at the request of Ajinomoto North America Inc.
