Based on the results of anti-dumping investigation conducted by the Ministry of Commerce in 2003, Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council has decided to levy anti-dumping duty on the catechol imported from and originally produced in EU for a period of 5 years as of August 27, 2003. In response to the application on the part of relevant domestic enterprises upon expiry of the duty-levying period, the Ministry of Commerce decides to conduct reexamination of the anti-dumping measures applicable to the catechol imported from and originally produced in EU. Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council makes a decision that anti-dumping duty levied on catechol imported from and originally produced in EU shall continue to prevail pending reexamination of the anti-dumping measures. Matters in relation to the enforcement of the anti-dumping measures are hereby announced as follows:
 

The Customs shall continue to levy anti-dumping duty on catechol declared to be imported from and originally produced in EU as of August 27, 2008 according to the product scope, tax rate, and formula as provided in the Announcements No. 51 (2003) and No. 51 (2005) issued by General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
