EU Continues to Impose Anti-Dumping Duties on PET Chips from China

On November17, 2010, an announcement from European Commission said that they maintained the anti-dumping duties on PET chips from China for a period of 5 years after the rulings of anti-dumping sunset review investigation into China's PET chips. One enterprise in Changzhou enjoys zero anti-dumping, other enterprises in China would be imposed the anti-dumping duties from Euro 22 per ton to Euro 184 per ton. European Commission initiated anti-dumping investigation into this product for the first time in May, 2003 and final ruling was issued in August, 2004, then after that, European Commission initiated anti-dumping sunset review investigation in August, 2009.
