2. Application requirements:
The corpse/coffin with corpse/human remains is required to enter/exit China by the shipper or agent, and is qualified for import/export in accordance with the relevant Chinese laws and regulations.

3. Quantity:
One import/export permit per corpse/coffin with corpse/human remains

4. Approval Authority:
Pujiang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is responsible for the inspection and quarantine of corpse/coffin with corpse/human remains imported/exported by sea; Shanghai International Airport Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is responsible for the inspection and quarantine of that imported/exported by air.

5. Procedures:
(1) Examination of submitted materials: the shipper or agent for the import/export corpse/coffin with corpse/human remains should submit written application and the relevant materials to the inspection and quarantine authority, and fill in the "Application of Import/Export Corpse/Coffin with Corpse/Human Remains for Verification and Quarantine".

(2) On-site inspection and quarantine: the staff of the inspection and quarantine authority should conduct on-site inspection and quarantine, and make on-site sanitary inspection record.

(3) The import/export permit shall be issued by the inspection and quarantine authority to the corpse/coffin with corpse/human remains qualified for import/export in accordance with the results of on-site inspection and quarantine treatment, while no permit shall be issued to those failing to meet the import/export requirements.
