China Inspection and Quarantine E-cert System Launched Officially

The AQSIQ presented a note to foreign embassies in China to notify that the China Inspection and Quarantine E-cert System(China E-cert)) was launched officially. Based on a platform developed for central data management and exchange regarding official certificate information, the system makes possible the automatic exchange of information on inspection and quarantine certificates issued by China and foreign countries, online inspection and verification, feedback, and electronic tracing of fake certificates. The users appointed by the relevant foreign government agencies with the approval of the AQSIQ may login in and inquire information on relevant certificates. Implementation of the system will effectively help crack down on illegal actions of forging and altering certificates, facilitate trade of agro produce and food products, and promote the healthy and orderly development of international trade.
