China's Anhui Province Introduced Taxation Preferential Policy, Supporting "Wanjiang Demonstration Area"

Recently, Anhui Province of China released a "blanket" preferential policy on land taxation, supporting cities along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province to undertake the construction of demonstration area for industrial relocation.

Within the demonstration area, taxation preference at varying degrees will apply to fields such as the infrastructure construction, the high and new technology, the modern service industry, and the modern agriculture. Moreover, the self-employed and the re-employed can also benefit from certain taxation policy support.

The preferential policy covers 10 aspects with 60 items. The supported fields include the infrastructure construction, the high and new technology industry, the modern service industry, the culture, education & health services, and the modern agriculture within the demonstration area; and the supported programs include industrial upgrading and technological innovation, resource conservation and environmental protection, development of small and medium-size enterprises, self-employment, employment and re-employment as well as the overall relocation or restructuring of enterprises within the demonstration area.
