China May Cut Naphtha Imports

China may reduce naphtha imports to 2.4 million tons next year as domestic supply increases amid refining capacity expansion, Chemical Industry News & Intelligence reported on December 7, 2010.
China may import 2.65 million tons of naphtha in 2010, according to the report. The country imported more than 200,000 tons of spot cargoes in November and December as refineries cut output in favor of diesel production.
