China Plans to Recover Importing Beef from the U.S.

According to the report from the Hong Kong Wenweipo, as the 21st U.S.-China Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade ended in Washington on December 15, 2010, China planned to recover importing beef from the U.S., delete the import restriction of poultry from the Idaho and Kentucky in the U.S. and promise to add software purchase. It was analyzed by the experts that this measure by China would help ease the high unemployment rate in the U.S., as well as the trade friction between China and the U.S., which came to win-win achievement.
On December 15, 2010, the U.S. and China signed 7 important documents on commerce and trade cooperation, referring to the hot topic on commerce and trade focused by both parts, like investment promotion, agricultural products, inspection & quarantine and etc.
During the U.S-China Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade, China indicated that they planned to recover importing boned beef and bone-in beef under 30 months on the basis of scientific principles and the requirements for China's inspection and quarantine, as well as deleting bird flu prohibition from Idaho and Kentucky in the U.S. As for the intellectual property, China promises to crack down on the tort of computer software and purchase more original software from the U.S.
