GACC Announcement 41, 2011 for Anti-Dumping on Adipic Acids

Announcement No. 41, 2011 of the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC)
 
As per the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the P. R. China, the Customs Tariffs Commission under China's State Council has made the decision to levy anti-dumping duties for five years from November 2, 2009 on imported adipic acids originating in the U.S., the EU and the R. O. Korea.

Recently, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has decided that Rhodia Korea Co., Ltd. should inherit the anti-dumping duty rates, relevant rights and obligations applied to Rhodia Polyamide Co., Ltd. under this anti-dumping case (please see the annex hereof).

Relevant matters are hereby announced below:

1. As from June 23, 2011, China Customs levy anti-dumping duties at the rate of 5.9% on the adipic acids declared for import in the name of Rhodia Korea Co., Ltd.; and levy anti-dumping duties at the rate of 16.7%, which is applicable to "other R. O. Korea companies", on the adipic acids declared for import in the name of Rhodia Polyamide Co., Ltd.

2. As to other anti-dumping matters with such imported adipic acids, regulations in the GACC Announcement No. 70, 2009 shall still prevail.
