Announcement No. 47, 2011 of the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC)
The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (hereinafter referred to as the "Harmonized System") is a basic catalog for China to formulate and implement import & export tariffs, trade controls, statistics, and other import and export administrative measures.
Now the World Customs Organization has released the 2012-version revised catalog of Harmonized System, which is to come into effect on January 1, 2012.
In order to ensure effective implementation of the new Harmonized System catalog in China, hereby released is the Chinese copy of the 2012-version Harmonized System catalog.
