The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, on July 22, 2006, released its Announcement No. 42 of 2006, deciding to levy anti-dumping duties on imports of PBT resin originating from Japan and Taiwan from July 22, 2006 to July 22, 2011.

The Ministry released Announcement No. 101 on January 22, 2011, ruling that the above-mentioned anti-dumping measures would be terminated on July 22, 2011. Domestic industry or natural person, legal person or relevant organizations that represent domestic industry could submit written petition for expiry review to the Ministry of Commerce 60 days prior to the termination date.

Since no domestic industry or any natural person, legal person, or related organization that represents the domestic industries has submitted petition for expiry review within the effective period, and MOFCOM decided not to launch expiry review on its own initiative, the anti-dumping measures imposed on imports of PBT resin from Japan and Taiwan will be terminated as of July 22, 2011.
