GACC Announcement 56, 2011 on Anti-Dumping on EU Carbon-Steel Fasteners

Announcement No. 56, 2011 of the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC)

As per the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the P. R. China, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council has decided to levy 5-year anti-dumping duties from June 29, 2010 on carbon-steel fasteners originating in the European Union (EU). And details are provided in the GACC's Announcement No. 38 of 2010.

Recently, based on petitions from enterprises concerned, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) decided to make KAMAX GmbH & Co. KG inherit the anti-dumping duty rates and other rights/obligations applied to KAMAX-Werke Rudolf Kellermann GmbH & Co. KG in this case, with details in the MOFCOM Announcement No. 56, 2011.

Relevant matters as follows:

1. As from September 9, 2011, China Customs shall levy anti-dumping duties at the rate of 6.1% on importing carbon-steel fasteners declared in the name of KAMAX GmbH & Co. KG; and shall levy the duties at 26.0% on the products declared in the name of KAMAX-Werke Rudolf Kellermann GmbH & Co. KG, which is treated as "other EU companies".

2. Other matters with the anti-dumping measures shall resort to the GACC's Announcement No. 38, 2010.
