By the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC)

According to China's Antidumping Regulations, China's Customs Tariff Commission decided to continue the antidumping duties for five years from January 1, 2011 on Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fibers originating in Japan and South Korea, and the GACC also issued its Announcement No. 91 of 2010 for this case.

Recently, concerning the Chinese antidumping measures, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has decided to permit South Korean TAIHAN Fiberoptics Co., LTD. to inherit the duty rate and other rights or obligations applied to former South Korean OPTOMAGIC (OPTOMAGIC CO., LTD.), as follows:

1. From July 16, 2012, China Customs may levy the antidumping duty at the rate of 2.3% on the imports of Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fibers declared in the name of TAIHAN Fiberoptics Co., LTD. and levy the antidumping duty at 46% on the imports declared in the name of OPTOMAGIC (OPTOMAGIC CO., LTD.) as on "other South Korean companies".

2. Other matters with the antidumping measures may still resort to relevant GACC announcements.
