China Cancels Export Inspection-Quarantine Fees

To the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection & Quarantine, and local authorities of finance and of reform:
Upon approval by the State Council (in GuoBanFa (2013) 83), the inspection-quarantine fees may be removed from export goods as required below:
1. From August 1 till December 31, 2013, the fees on exit-entry inspection and quarantine shall be canceled for all exiting goods, vehicles, containers and other statutory quarantine objects (but excluding the fees on vaccination and physical examination for exiting persons, and the fees on enterprises' voluntary commercial testing, exit quarantine, and animal vaccination).
2. After such cancel for export goods, the funds needed for the performance of the inspection-quarantine agencies may be arranged by the central government financial budget.
3. Local authorities concerned shall strictly implement, without delay or resistance, the cancel of inspection-quarantine fees for export goods.
