GACC Announcement No.48, 2014 on HS Conversion of Product-Specific Origin Rules under China-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Agreement

Owing to changes made in HS items of some products in product-specific origin rules under China-ASEAN Framework Agreement On Comprehensive Economic Cooperation, the Chinese and ASEAN authorities have both agreed on the conversion of those product names and codes from HS 2007 version into HS 2012 version.
In accordance with relevant Measures of Origin Management (GACC Decree No.199), hereby released are the table of conversion of the product-specific origin rules that are changed or adjusted (see the Annex 1) and the full converted table (see the Annex 2).
As from July 1, 2014, except the exports to Thailand, regarding other ASEAN countries, the Chinese exporters and certifying authorities shall apply for or issue the Agreement-covered Certificate of Origin in accordance with the origin criteria set forth in the annexes hereto.
