AQSIQ-GACC Announcement No.62, 2014 Adjusts Entry-Exit Goods Subjected to Inspection & Quarantine Agencies

In accordance with China's Law on Import & Export Goods Inspection, the AQSIQ hereby decides to make the following adjustment in the Catalog of Entry-Exit Goods Subjected to Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Agencies:
1. Electromechanical products and food-contacted products shall be exempted from export inspection and quarantine, involving 222 HS Codes (see the Annex), which shall take effect on/from June 15, 2014. As regards the goods without statutory inspection, the entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies shall conduct random check as regulated.
2. The goods under HS Code 7202210010 (ferrosilicon, with 55%<silicon content<90% ) and under 7202290010 (ferrosilicon, with 30%≤silicon content≤55%) shall be added to export inspection, and the consignors/consignees involved shall declare to the customs for export by submitting the Exit Inspection Certificate Of Goods issued by entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies, which shall take effect on/from July 15, 2014.
