CaiGuanShui [2014] No.54 Notice on Canceling Processing-Trade Bonded Import of Steels

To local authorities of finance, state taxation and customs districts:
Upon State Council approval, we hereby decide to prolong the transitional period for cancelation of bonded import of steel products under 78 HS codes in terms of processing trade in accordance with CaiGuanShui [2014] No.37 Notice, detail as follows:
As of January 1, 2015, import duties and taxes shall be levied on the import of steel products under specified 78 HS codes through processing trade; where relevant trade contracts are signed before/on December 31, 2014 and the imports are actually undertaken before/on June 30, 2015, the processing trade may continue with bonded import of steels within the contract validity period.
