GACC Announcement No.90, 2014 (on Petroleum Products Import Consumption Tax Hike)

In view of environmental governance, energy saving and emission reduction, upon State Council approval, hereby announced are the increases in China’s import-based consumption tax on petroleum products:
1. As regards gasoline, naphtha, solvent oil and lubricating oil, the import consumption tax is raised in unit amount from CNY 1.12/liter to CNY 1.4/liter.
2. As regards diesel oil, aviation kerosene and fuel oil, the import consumption tax is raised in unit amount from CNY 0.94/liter to CNY 1.1/liter.
3. Aviation kerosene import consumption tax remains in suspension.
This Announcement shall enter into effect on December 13, 2014.
