GACC Announcement No.44 of 2015 on (Epichlorohydrin AD on USA Companies)

In 2012, China's Customs Tariff Commission decided to impose antidumping (AD) duties on Epichlorohydrin from Russia, South Korea, Japan, and USA for five years from June 28, 2012. Recently, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has decided to permit USA-based Blue Cube Operations LLC to inherit the antidumping duties and other rights and obligations on The Dow Chemical Company from USA.
Relevant matters are hereby announced:
1. As from September 1, 2015, as regards the Epichlorohydrin imported in the name of Blue Cube Operations LLC, China Customs will impose the antidumping duties at the rate of 4.3%; as regards the Epichlorohydrin imported in the name of The Dow Chemical Company, China Customs will impose the antidumping duties at the rate of 71.5% as on "other USA companies".
2. Other relevant matters shall still be subject to relevant announcements made by the GACC.
