GACC Announcement No.15, 2016 on (Stopping Approval for Deferred Duty/Tax Payment)

In accordance with State Council Resolution on Revision of Administrative Regulations (in State Council Decree No.666), Customs approval shall be stopped for deferred payment of customs duties and other import-related taxes. Where the duties/taxes cannot be paid on time owing to force majeure or state taxation adjustment, taxpayers may, after providing payment guarantee, directly undertake the deferral formalities with local Customs.
