GACC Announcement No.77, 2016 on Added Zero-Duty Goods under Hong Kong & Macao CEPAs

In accordance with China Inland-Hong Kong and Inland-Macao Closer Economic Partnership Arrangements (hereinafter referred to as “Hong Kong CEPA” and “Macao CEPA”) and their supplements, hereby announced are the Table of Origin Criteria for Added Zero-Duty Goods under Hong Kong CEPA from 1 January 2017 (see Annex 1), the Table of Origin Criteria for Added Zero-Duty Goods under Macao CEPA from 1 January 2017 (see Annex 2) and revisions of Hong Kong origin criteria under preferential trade measures (see Annex 3).

All the two Tables of Origin Criteria, entering into force on 1 January 2017, have the simplified description of goods and the same scopes as those under corresponding HS Codes in China Customs Import & Export Tariff of 2016.

Revision of origin criteria has been made to the goods under HS codes 32061900 and 63079000 as listed in the Annex 1 (Hong Kong Origin Criteria under Preferential Trade Measures) to GACC Announcement No.82 of 2011, and the revised criteria shall enter into force on 1 January 2017.
