GACC Announcement No.34, 2017 on Customs Control Code “0139” Repeal

In consideration that the state has revoked the policies on petty tourist commodity trade, the GACC hereby repeals the Customs control code “0139” as follows:
To repeal the code “0139” for Customs control over “petty export goods worth not more than USD 50,000 ordered by a foreign tourist” (shortly as “tourist-bought commodities”), referring to the USD 50,000 and less worth of commodities bought by a foreign tourist with his own foreign currency or using domestic freight forwarder for exit from China.
This Announcement shall enter into force on 1 August 2017.
