On March 4, America commerce department made final decision to levy 132.74%-349.00% anti-dumping duty on firebricks imported from China, and levy 54.73% anti-dumping duty on the similar companies in Mexico involved in the same case.

The America commerce department showed that China exported products had gain subsidies or made dumping lower than the cost, and to protect the America enterprises interest from infringement, the aforementioned measures were reasonable.

Last year, Binzhou Resco Products Company made a lawsuit to claim that China and Mexico engaged in unfair competition in American market. On December 2009, America commerce department rejected the requirement of levying anti-dumping duty on China firebricks.

America had imported 50.7 million U.S. dollars and 7.7 million U.S. dollars firebricks respectively from China and Mexico in 2008.
