Mexico Initiates Anti-Dumping Review Investigation on Bottle Components for Hydraulic Jacks from China

On September 3, 2010, the general office of international trade practice under the Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs issued an Announcement on the initiation of the anti-dumping review investigation into the bottle components for hydraulic jacks originating in China.

The Mexican HS Code of products in question is 8405.4202, described as hydraulic bottle jacks capable of lifting from 1.5 tons to 20 tons.

The examination period of the investigation is from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010, and the damage analysis period is from July 1, 2006 till June 30, 2010. During the investigation period, the original anti-dumping duties remain unchanged.

Stakeholders shall submit relevant answer sheets to the general office of international trade practice under the Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs within 28 workdays.

A public hearing will be held on March 17, 2011. The deadline for submitting relevant comments and evidences shall be 14:00 on March 24, 2011.
