EU Officially Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Sodium Gluconate from China

On October 28, 2010, an announcement from the Economic and Commercial Counsellor's Office of the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the European Communities Formalnote approved to impose anti-dumping duties of 53.2% on Sodium Gluconate from China in their final rulings. Shandong Kaisheng from China received market economy treatment of tariff rate 5.6%; Qingdao Kehai received single tariff rate of 27.1%. On August 11, 2009, EU initiated anti-dumping investigation into above mentioned products and selected the U.S. as subrogate country, amounted to USD 5,880,000.
