EU Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duties on Coated Paper from China

On November17, 2010, an announcement from European Commission said that they would impose provisional anti-dumping duties on coated paper from China for a period of 6 months. APP China received separate judgment with tariff rate of 19.7% and the unified tariff rate for other enterprises was 31.5%. It is estimated that this case will be finally ruled in May next year. On February 18, 2010, European Commission initiated anti-dumping investigation into coated paper from China, then initiated anti-subsidy investigation on April 17, which is the first anti-dumping and anti-subsidy on China case initiated by EU. The referred amount of this case is USD 130 million with hundreds of enterprises referred. The main one is APP China.
