EU Initiates Anti-Dumping Investigation into Graphite Electrode from China

On December 17, 2010, with the application from the European Carbon and Graphite Association, the European Commission initiated anti-dumping investigation into graphite electrode originating in China. The HS Code of involved products in the European Union refers to ex85451100 and ex85459090.

The duration of investigation is from October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010. The EU primarily selects Mexico as the substitution country for calculating the normal value of the involved products from China.
