Mexico Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Seamless Steel Tubes/Pipes from China

On February 24, 2011, Mexico issued an Announcement on an official bulletin, completing the anti-dumping investigation into the seamless steel tubes/pipes (HS Codes: 73041902, 73041999, 73043906, and 73043999, external diameter of 5-16 inches, excluding non-stainless steel) originating in China.

When the import price of the products concerned is lower than USD 1,772 per tonne, the duty levied shall be the difference between the price of import declaration and the foregoing limited price multiplied by the quantity of imported products (tonne) specified on the import documents, but not higher than 56% of the customs ad valorem duty-paid prices.
