U.S. to Impose High Anti-Subsidy & Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Aluminum Profiles

U.S. Department of Commerce on March 29, 2011 made a final decision to impose anti-subsidy duties ranging from 8.02% to 374.15% and anti-dumping duties ranging from 32.79% to 33.28% on Chinese aluminum profiles.

In August and October 2010, the U.S. Department of Commerce preliminary rulings were respectively to impose anti-subsidy duties up to 137.65% and anti-dumping duties of 59.31% on Chinese aluminum profiles; Compared with the preliminary rulings, the final anti-dumping duties are lower but final anti-subsidy duties are increased significantly.
