On March 24, 2011 United States International Trade Commission made a final ruling of a sunset review, deciding to maintain the anti-dumping duties levied on carbon steel butt-welded pipe fittings imported from China and some other countries.

The International Trade Commission said in a statement that such products imported from China, Brazil, Japan, China's Taiwan, Thailand and other markets would cause continuous injuries to related U.S. industries in a foreseeable period of time.

According to the U.S trade remedy procedures, U.S. Department of Commerce in February made a final ruling of the anti-dumping sunset review, and the International Trade Commission's final ruling shows that the U. S. will continue to impose the anti-dumping duties on carbon steel butt-welded pipe fittings imported from those mentioned markets.

Currently, the U. S. imposes anti-dumping duties ranging from 35.06% to 182.90% on Chinese enterprises involved.
