China Imposes Definitive Antidumping and Anti-subsidy Duties on Imports of Saloon Cars and Cross-country Cars

On May 5, 2011, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) issued Public Notice No. 20 [2011], announcing its affirmative final determination in the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations on imports of saloon cars and cross-country cars (of a cylinder capacity ≥ 2000cc) originating in the U.S..

The dumping margins range from 2.0% to 21.5%; the subsidy margins range from 0% to 12.9%.
