China Commerce Ministry: Aware of EU Complaint Over Antidumping Duty on X-Ray Scanners

China'sCommerce Ministry said on July 27, 2011 it is aware that the European Union has filed a complaint over antidumping duties imposed by Beijing on European X-ray security scanners.

China will seek to solve the issue via the World Trade Organization's dispute scheme, the ministry said, without elaborating.

China decided to levy a five-year antidumping duty on X-ray scanners imported from the EU in January.
