The EU to Impose 5-Year AD Duty on China's Ceramic Tiles

According to foreign reports July 20, the EU is likely to approve the anti-dumping (AD) duty of 69.7% for five years on China's ceramic tiles by the end of this July, though 3.3% lower than the provisional anti-dumping duty implemented from this March.

This February, the EU said China's ceramic products injured the EU ceramic industry, therefore launched the anti-dumping investigation on China's ceramic tiles.

After that the EU started to impose punitive provisional duty of 73% from this early March, some enterprises under an average rate of 32.3%, more than 1,400 China's enterprises involved, over 200 ones from China's Foshan city.

The punitive provisional duty will expire on September 17, 2011.
