The EU's Mid-Term Antidumping Review Investigation into China's Tartaric Acid

On July 29, 2011, at the request of manufacturing enterprises of member states of the EU such as Distillerie Bonollo SpA, Industria Chimica Valenzana SpA, Distillerie Mazzari SpA, Caviro Distillerie S.r.l. and Comercial Quimica Sarasa s.l, the EU launched mid-term antidumping review investigation on China's tartaric acid. Only one Chinese enterprise, Hangzhou Bioking Biochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., involved in the investigation, the involved products are under HS code 29181200.

In 2004, the EU launched antidumping investigation into China's tartaric acid; in 2006, the EU made a confirmative ruling.
