India Prolongs Anti-Dumping on China's Teflon

On August 24, 2011, India Customs released its Notice No. 81, 2011 on prolonging anti-dumping duties on teflon originating in or imported from China.

The involved products are under HS Code 390461.

The anti-dumping duty of USD 2.48 per kilogram is imposed on teflon manufactured or exported by China's DuPont (Changshu) Fluoro Technology Co., Ltd;

The duty of USD 3.87 per kilogram is imposed on teflon manufactured by China's DuPont (Changshu) Fluoro Technology Co., Ltd. but exported by other Chinese companies;

The duty of USD 3.87 per kilogram is imposed on teflon exported by other Chinese companies and originating in China or any other countries/regions.

The anti-dumping measure takes effect from the date of release and is to be valid for 5 years, except being otherwise canceled, replaced or modified. The taxation currency is Indian rupee.
