EU's AD Sunset-Review Probe into Chinese & Thai Plastic Bags

On Sept. 27, 2011, the European Commission announced the start of anti-dumping (AD) sunset-review probe into plastic bags imported from China and Thailand.

Since Sept. 30, 2006, the EU has been levying anti-dumping duties of 4.8%-28.8% on Chinese products and 5.1%-14.3% on Thai products, which are set to last five years.
