Thai Final AD Ruling on Chinese Hot-Rolled Steel Plates

Recently, Thailand's commerce authority has made the final ruling for anti-dumping (AD) on hot-rolled steel plates made in China and Malaysia.

A 30.91% anti-dumping duty rate is imposed on Chinese products, but excluding the following three types of products:

1. Those imported for the purpose of re-export;

2. Those used for molding sector under HS Codes 7208.5100.033, 7208.5100.053, and 7211.1490.090 (NOT more than 1,000 tons each year);

3. Those used for ship-deck building and repair (NOT more than 1,000 tons each year).
