Thailand Prolongs AD Duties One-Year on China's H-Shape Steels

According to Thai state newspaper of Oct. 10, Thailand government has decided to prolong its anti-dumping (AD) duties on China-made H-shape steels for one year.

To reduce its construction industry's cost, the anti-dumping duty rate will be cut half from previous 27.81%.

It is reported that the anti-dumping measures have been for 8 years and expired on Oct. 9 this year and this investigation and prolongation were at the request of Thai steel maker Siam Yamato Steel.
