Argentina Imposes Anti-dumping Duties on Imports of Manual Straight Steel Blads from China

On November 24, 2011, the Government of Argentina, published Resolution 377/2011, closing an anti-dumping investigation on imports of manual straight steel blades from the People's Republic of China (N.C.M. 8202.91.00 and 8202.99.90). The opening of the investigation had been requested by local producer Sin Par S.A, and the dumping margin was calculated to be 117,95 %.

The investigated product was found to be commercialized at a price 21% lower than the price of the similar national product. The Government applied a final anti-dumping right of US$ 0.46 per unit. The measure will be in force for 5 years, effective September 9, 2011.
