Peru Keeps Anti-Dumping on Chinese Shoes
[2011-12-06 11:42:42]
Recently, Peru's National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property (INDECOPI) noticed China's embassy in Lima that the Institute has closed on Nov. 21 its review of Peruvian anti-dumping (AD) measures on China-made shoes (except sandals and slippers), which were launched in 2010, with a final decision to maintain the anti-dumping measures of 2000 by continuing the anti-dumping duties.
Notably, the INDECOPI will adjust the price ceilings in the original measures, conduct differential duty rates on different exporters or manufacturers as per 5 CIF levels, and change the duty-calculation basis from CIF price percentage to USD price per pair.
