The U.S. AD Sunset Review on China's Furfuryl Alcohol

On Dec. 5, 2011, the United States International Trade Commission released a notice on launching antidumping (AD) sunset-review investigation into China-made furfuryl alcohol so as to determine whether revocation of the antidumping measures will cause material injury to U.S. local industries within a reasonably foreseeable period.

On June 8, 1994, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched the antidumping investigation into Chinese furfuryl alcohol under HS code 29321300.

On May 8, 1995, the Department made a final ruling that the dumping margin was 45.27% by Chinese enterprises involved.

On Sept. 1, 2011, the Department launched the third sunset-review investigation on this case.
