Recently, the EU Council has formally issued its final anti-dumping sunset-review ruling on steel wire ropes, with the 60.4% anti-dumping duty persisted on such products originating in China and expanded to those from Morocco and South Korea.

Therein, the EU maintains the 51.8% anti-dumping duty on Ukraine and Moldova while ends that on South Africa.

In 1999, the EU conducted the anti-dumping measures on involved Chinese, Indian, Ukrainian and South African products, and then through its anti-circumvention probe, expanded the China-oriented anti-dumping to Morocco and South Korea and the Ukraine-oriented anti-dumping to Moldova.
