U.S. Final Anti-Subsidy Ruling on China's Zinced Steel Wires

On March 20, 2012, U.S. Department of Commerce announced a final anti-subsidy ruling on China-made zinc-coated steel wires (see the table below).

As per the procedure, U.S. International Trade Commission will make a relevant final ruling of industrial injury on May 3 this year; if the injury ruling is affirmative, the Department of Commerce will issue the anti-subsidy duty order on the Chinese products.

On April 20 last year, the Department started the anti-subsidy probe under HS Codes: 72172030, 72172045, 72172030.00, 72172045.10, 72172045.20, 72172045.30, 72172045.40, 72172045.50, 72172045.60, 72172045.70, 72172045.80, 72292000.15, 72299050.08, 72299050.16, 72299050.31, 72299050.51.

On November 3 last year, the Department preliminarily ruled that the anti-subsidy duty at 21.59%-253.07% should be levied on Chinese enterprises involved.
