Canada Takes AD Sunset Review on Chinese Bicycles

On March 28, 2012, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced its starting anti-dumping (AD) sunset-review investigations on bicycles from China mainland and Chinese Taiwan.

It is scheduled that the CITT will make a final ruling of industrial injury on July 26, 2012, and if affirmative, make the final ruling for the anti-dumping sunset review on December 7, 2012.

On May 15, 1992, the Canada Border Service Agency started the anti-dumping probe under HS Codes 87120000.12, 87120000.20, 87120000.30, 87120000.40, 87120000.50, 87120000.90.

On December 11, 1992, the Agency made a final ruling with 12%-46% duty rates on China mainland enterprises and 13% rate on Taiwanese enterprises involved.

On February 7, 2012, the CITT announced the coming expiry of the anti-dumping measures.
