ECFA Makes Taiwan-to-Mainland Tea with Least Duty

Reported by china.com.cn recently, in 2011, China mainland cut the import duty on Taiwan-made tea down to 5% from 15%, and during January-August 2011, the export of Taiwanese tea to the mainland totaled USD 6.411 million, up 56% from 2010's USD 4.098 million.

In 2012, the import duty will be reduced to 0% under the bilateral ECFA, more favorable for the export from Taiwan.
